Engineering of construction and reconstruction of wells
On June 1-3, 2011, I scientific-practical conference "Engineering construction and reconstruction of wells" took place in Samara.
The conference was organized by JSC "NK Rosneft", "SamaraNIPIneft" LLC, Samara SPE section and the magazine "Oil Industry".
The conference was attended by more than 100 specialists representing 40 Russian and foreign oil and gas companies, research centers, design institutes, service enterprises and universities. Active participation in the conference was attended by specialists of Gazpromneft NTC, Sibnefteproekt, YuganskNIPI, KogalymNIPIneft, SibNIINP OJSC, Schlumberger Ltd., MI SWACO LLC, Halliburton International Inc., Weatherford International Ltd. and others.
The participants were greatly interested in the reports "Automation and optimization of the management of the drilling engineering system in the framework of the integrated system "Drill work"(V.P. Palchunov, Modem Ltd.), "Hydroimpulsive method for elimination of mud absorption during drilling in areas of Eastern Siberia" (V.A. Abstract of the scientific article
The article is devoted to the automation of engineering calculations in the design of the fastening of wells, in particular, to the description of the automated workplace "Calculation of casing strings for oil and gas wells". The main functions and structure of the workstation are given, shown fragments of the user interface at initial parameters and the well casing, specific results of the work of the workstation in the form of pressure diagrams and tables of design and verification calculations with the selection of pipes and threaded connections for a specific type of casing string are given.
